The digital home for MD Ahnaf Hossain's viral Knicks chant that united a city. We built cityofus.org: raffle-based email capture, Stripe donations, AEO-first schema architecture, and an embedded social-proof timeline that turns one 15-second clip into a lasting digital brand.

The Challenge
A 23-year-old from Jamaica, Queens said four lines into a camera outside Madison Square Garden and broke the internet — 6.9 million views, six national press outlets, and zero digital infrastructure. The moment needed a canonical home before the algorithm forgot about it: a site that could survive a CNN link, capture emails before the product existed, and get cited by AI answer engines when someone asked "who said the Knicks chant."
Our Solution
We designed and shipped cityofus.org as a static-first Next.js site with four layers of schema markup (Article with citation array, Person, Organization, FAQ with speakable), a raffle-based email capture system, Stripe donation integration, embedded TikTok and Instagram proof, a press coverage archive, and a triage contact form for press, partnerships, and wholesale inquiries. The site went live before the press cycle moved on.
The Result
City of Us now owns its canonical URL, its email list, and its story. The site surfaces in AI-generated answers when users ask about the chant, captures every press mention, and converts passive interest into an owned list — all without a single product in stock.
